Expert profile search is a tool for finding a scientist active in a specific area or possessing a special competence profile within biomedical research. Each scientist’s abstract from PubMed* with the corresponding MeSH**-terms have been imported to the system. By typing in a MeSH - term, the system finds the publications which have been indexed with this MeSH -term and produces a list of scientists, ranked in order of number of publications with the selected MeSH -term. “Areas of interest” can be defined as narrowly or broadly as dictated by the needs and expertise of the user.
To find linformation on other leadiing life science scientists in the region who typically do not publish in biomedical journals, go to SEARCH INFO BANK and R&D AREAS in the left hand menu.
