Welcome to meet Stockholm-Uppsala Life Science ambassadors!

Our ambassadors are a selected group of scientists, industry leaders and politicians from the buoyant life science sector in Stockholm-Uppsala.

They are here to tell you about the opportunities they see in developing their research or their business in Stockholm-Uppsala. But of course also to discuss challenges in the life science sector.

Our ambassadors are selected on their long experience and their well developed networks in Stockholm-Uppsala and internationally.

Among the scientists, you will find members of the Nobel committee and Nobel Assembly for Medicine or Physiology and of the Nobel Committee for Chemistry. All the Directors and Co-directors for Science for Life Laboratory in Stockholm and Uppsala also belong to this exclusive group. The scientists represent wide areas of expertise ranging from protein science and molecular biology to cancer, infectious diseases, epidemiology and bio banks.

Industry leaders from the large companies such as Biovitrum, Electa, GE Healthcare, Pfizer, Phadia and St Jude Medical also belong to the network.

The regional politicians mainly represent are from the County Councils and represent the Public Healthcare sector.
