Obstecare is based on research findings from Karolinska Institutet that careful monitoring of amniotic fluid lactate (AFL) level can predict at an early stage in their delivery which women are going to suffer from dysfunctional labor. Today, Obstecare markets a unique Point-of-Care device tailored to measure lactate in amniotic fluid. It’s a true combination of medicine and IT that has substantially reduced the number of complications from a long, arduous birth and, of course, the suffering that accompanies it.

International launch just 5 years from start-up
